Around the bend

From my office window I can see a path by the garden gate
In my mind I've walked it often but I always work too late
The path it leads into the woods and then bends out of sight
One day I'll be exploring there but just no tonight

When I walk out the door the path is calling me
The trees they beckon, come and see
What hides behind the bend
