We are creatures of magic, slow and strong
Creatures of beauty, of life and song
We sang for a portal to a distant shore
With forests and waters, what could we ask more?
The portal glowed soft, we passed through the stone
To a world young and green, but we were not alone
We never had guessed we had something to fear
Now it is too late! We are stranded out here!

The doorway is closed did you just hear the crack
of stone upon stone now there's no turning back
The joy of this place is fading too soon
We long for the home of our race
Beyond the moon

Without knowing or asking you hate what we are
